Felcia pick-up clutch.

Hiya, new to Briskoda today. It never occurred to me that a forum like this would exist until I started to search for some info for my mighty Felicia LXi pick-up that I’ve had for nearly 3 years. It’s a 1998 1.3i and it’s been suffering a while with a slipping clutch that I’m going to have to bite the bullet and replace – or get replaced.

Question. Does anyone know if the clutch is the same as the Felicia saloon? i.e. is it the same engine? Mine has a 1.3 MPi engine. From what I can gather, it looks like it may well but I’d appreciate it if anyone has any inside info.

Second, I’m half-capable of doing this sort of thing myself – but how much agg is the job if I’m looking to save a few bob instead of taking it to a clutch fitter?
