I believe it runs until the 30th June so you could still get the deal tomorrow.

i think it ends tomorrow but they do have a tendancy to extend it though

Somehow I doubt that any manufacturer would increase its prices 17.5% overnight in this current climate.

Nope - Sinclair in Swansea in the end. Local dealers were not interested in haggling at all. I remember walking into Robert Bamfords and their look of utter distain when I suggested a figure less then they were quoting. Had an email exchange with Winners - polite and helpful but again, too expensive. In the end Sinclair came up with the best deal for me, very close behind was Allams.

Going to need a local servicing dealer though - who do you use?

I live in Hereford and have ordered my new vRS from Letchworth and David Scott.

Same as you, Bamfords were useless and wouldn't haggle, Winners and Startins never returned calls, so ordered over the phone with David.

That is where I got mine from as well. Fortunately it is my local dealer and have been very impressed with their service.

Thanks for that - looks like ending 31 December 2010, which gives me some more breathing space for what I want to do.

Mind you with VAT going up to 20% January 2011 this will add on another £500 to a car so looks like I will place an order before the end of the year.

did i just read that right ??

Note it has been extended but it now says for retail deliveries before the end of the year, not orders. At least that's the case for the Octavia. Seems it's different for some other Skodas.

Time is of the essence

as delivery is key here for the discount to be applied.

There is no way I would have bought my SKODA if I had to pay plus VAT price, they are simply not worth it.

This is just a marketing ploy to make the cars appear good value for money.

Excellent Advice!

Check the Ts and Cs on the back of the order form that exclude this clause and ensure you include it with the dealer when paying a deposit and agreeing a delivery date.
