Sorry to dig up a old post , however i've just got my rear spings and they are nealy 2.5cm bigger in hight then the old 1's , old 31 new are 34 . are they the wrong springs ?? had them ordered on line and the sell is claiming there the right springs for my car .

The VRS is 25mm lower than a standard Octavia so sounds like you may have been given ones for a standard Octavia (assuming you have a VRS?)

Am just going to do my front struts & springs & my local parts shop couldn't give me any of my parts they even phoned the spring company & they didn't do the parts for the vrs so I had even aarnold Clark skoda parts couldn't give me the parts they had to get then direct from skoda!

There is a company that specializes in springs for sports models of standard cars. Got a pair a couple of years back from my local motor factors, double checked them by parking back to back with another Vrs and it was the right height lol
