Hello to all from Surrey

Featured Replies

Hello,

My other half and I have just bought home our new baby - a 2003 Skoda Superb Elegance 1.9 tdi. It is a Category C Insurance write off so we're expecting much fun and games over the next few weeks!

I as a girl have to admit that I know very little about about the workings of these mechanical beasts but am not afraid to ask those who may be in the know... my other half however being a boy will play about with things until they either work or fall off whichever comes first! He has carried out this rebuilding exercise on many cars previously but has usually stuck to BMWs - the Skoda is unchartered territory!

I'm guessing you can now see why I have joined this forum and not he!!

Our first of what maybe many questions in the future is: does this model have either a fuel cut-off relay or fuel inertia switch and if so, where is it located?

I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help.

Cheers,

Jackie x

Welcome fellow Surrey-ite :)
