Does anyone know if there is a stronger gearbox mount available? These things seem to 'go home' all too easily resulting in knocking etc. that is the bane of many vRS owners.

The part number in question is 6 Q0 199 555K.

I have read that maybe the latest ones that Skoda are shipping carry a different suffix code and just might evidence that finally they realise this component needs to be stronger.

Otherwise does anyone know if a Seat, VW or Audi part might work as an alternative and be built to a better specification and so last longer? I was wondering about the mount used in say the Ibiza 160 Cupra perhaps?

Are you sure it ended 'BA' and not 'AB' ?

Thanks for confirmation, looks like Skoda may have upped the spec hopefully.
