Fuel filler flap not shutting!

Featured Replies

Hi all I filled up my tank yesterday and the fuel filler flap that locks in place will not shut! Is there any reason why this is the case? Is it an easy fix? It closes ok but doesn't lock into place.

Dean

Hi. Am not an expert but same thing happened to me. Basically the "line" has got disconnected. You need to reconnect by getting behind it where the bulbs are for the rear lights. I just reconnected it and was back to normal. Hope this helps.

Bowden cable has popped off. Easy fix, just peel back offside trim next to fuel filler and refit cable. There's a guide on here somewhere.

Any ideas where to point me in the right direction? Thanks :smirk:
