Have a look at the diagrams on Rob Clubleys website where he's removed various hoses as that will show you where the vac hose is that goes into the combi-valve. If I remember rightly it's connected to the N249 and N112 system as when we bypassed the N249 on my mates car the other week we had to make sure there was still a vac feed to that combi-valve.
