Tour de Skoda

For anyone who isn't a fan of cycle racing, you are currently missing the chance to see the 'Tour de Skoda' ...

Skoda are an official partner of the Tour de France and supply all the cars used by the race organisation and race officials. Superb's for the commissaires (referees) and race directors, Octavia estates for the 'Mavic' neutral service cars. The only exception is the race doctor who needs a convertible, so that is a VW. In addition they also sponsor many of the teams - mostly Octavia and Superb estates are used.

So if you tune into the coverage on ITV4 or Eurosport you can play spot the Skoda (except for tomorrow because it's a rest day), and on Eurosport you can also see the official Skoda Tour de France advert - which is very amusing if you understand bike racing...
