Driveshaft seems impossible to find!

Featured Replies

Well my driveshaft has gone to a better place

this is leaving me with a problem of finding a new 1! i've ordered 2 now from different autofactors and both have come back as golf mk4 driveshafts which are different so i've been told?

does anyone know of the part number or anywhere else i can find a driveshaft at a decent price TPS want £250 for 1 and im not really in a position to spend that much!!

thanks Brum

has it snapped? or just the cv joint gone?

there was one on ebay last night when i was browsing thru tat, dont really see why it would be different from a golf 1.8T one tho

I should still have one spare from a VRS - make me an offer.

The Autofactors that you spoke to are wrong. Its the same shaft as a mk4 golf gti turbo. (just checked in our books for you) A golf gti with a N/A 1.8 is different though. I can do them new (Shaftec, not genuine) for £143.31 plus vat.
