Leather interior?

Featured Replies

Did the Fabia Vrs come with leathers as an optional extra or not, been looking for a black vrs with leathers but not having much look, one has popped up but its a wee bit dear for whats on offer, i have been told that the owner will have done that themselves as leathers were not an optional extra, saying they only came with a certain model?

They only came as standard on the SE, although I have a feeling it was offered as an optional extra on non-SE versions sold around the same time. I'd be surprised if anyone bothered, though, as the 'official' leather only did the seats and cost well over a grand when put on as an option, but Seat Surgeons in York will do the seats and the door cards for considerably less.

In fact, now I think about it, ISTR the leather on both SEs and any that had it as an option was put on after the car left the factory anyway...

There you have it: seats but not door cards...

Skoda did offer an after market kit for dealers to upgrade cars to leather.

I think it was around £1200 but it did effectively give the option to upgrade/refurb a used vehicle.

It is still probably available if they have kits left.

As I say, though: why bother when you can get the whole interior done for around half that?

True provided it doesn't end up looking like it was stitched together by a one eyed sailor!

i had leather put in mine about 5 weeks ago by cheshire auto trim they did one hell of a job could not fault them in anyway!the leather is ten times better than the cloth seats which are a nightmare to keep clean B)

What did you pay, compared to Seat Surgeons to make the extra distance worth it? I'm only asking, as I'm hoping to get mine done one day, and it sounds like they're a lot closer...

i dont know what they would charge.i payed 500 inc door cards but it was a cancelled order from the dealer but the dealer still payed for the leather.so thats why i got it alot cheaper!i think around £800 but i would ask what they would do for cash think you would get some knocked off! like i said before could not fault there work and i do like things to be perfect :p
