is that the warning light for that sorry cant find the manual? did rear and front disks not to long ago but replaced lost fluid ill have a look again though.

it did it on my old corsa could be the same warning

They are the same warning - handbrake and fluid level. Would suggest it needs topping up as it moves around in the resovoiur under power/corners.

If there is a leak it needs to be fixed.

Hi James, looks like you are doing a lot to the Fabia sounds like you are having fun with it too!! On the subject of the warning light coming on, if the brake fliud level is OK then the problem could be that the handbrake warning switch is worn or fallen out of adjustment a bit so that when you are giving the car the beans there is just enough movement to allow the switch to close and bring the light on. The bleep is just an extra warning that the handbrake is on while the car is in motion. The switch on most cars usually resides under the centre console behind the handbrake lever so a few torx screws removal with the help of an Haynes manual or the like should see you fix it.

Cheers for the tips people ill have a look in the morn, hammering it down outside ill report back.

Same thing happened to me. Took it to the dealer and they said brake fluid was leaking from o/s rear caliper. Had to get new caliper and top up brake fluid! £274 altogether. :(

this happened to me mate, rear brake piston was fubar, brake fluid everywhere over one wheel which has messed it up a load :(

thankfully they only wanted £80 to do both rear shoes and pistons though :)

that sounds like it could be whats up.
