Heater stuck on hot

Featured Replies

Hi all, my fabia heater is only blowing out hot air, any comon issues?

Cheers

Flap motor for heater.

I had a similar problem, opened up the front and cleared a lot of dust from the thermometer, seemed to fix it.

Centre consule out and front heater panel. New motor needs to be adapted using VAGCOM. Helps to remove glovebox as well.

Hello

I'm considering buying a Fabia TDi Estate from a friend, but he says that sometimes the heater keeps blowing out hot air - not good in the summer! Has anyone any ideas as to how easy this motor is to fix? I'm not an expert mechanic, but reasonably competent at tinkering with this sort of thing.

Also, how much do these motors cost?

Just wondering if it's worth buying the car if this heater issue is going to be a pain to fix.

Cheers

Al

p.s. this is my first post. Hope you're friendly on here :)

Motor is about £70.
