hi there has a 2004 mkII octavia got a galvanised body ??????????????

I've asked this question quite a few times without any answer. I even Emailed Skoda and VW without any response. I doubt the whole body shell is galvanised because of some rust problems reported here and on other forums.VW used to advertise about their galvanising process and included it in their sales brochures . They no longer do that . I get the impression that VAG recognised that new car owners aren't interested in the long term durability and that they could meet the 12yrs "rusting through" corrosion warranty without going the the full galavanising route. I was told by a Skoda salesman that only parts of the latest Octavia were galvanised.
