rear map lights

Featured Replies

i want my rear map lights to work differently, is it as easy to re-wire them as it is in my head so that when you open a rear door the appropriate map light comes on as a courtesy gesture type thing?

btw in my head its quite easy :)

Surely would mean mounting door switches on the centre pillar?

Better still, I suggest you swap for a Superb, as its another feature thats standard...just like so many on the wishlist you have :D

Yup I know he has a 1.8 20v Turbo, but the Superb that has so many features dosent.

i've been thinking about fitting one in the back of the vrs,it gets difficult putting the kids in the back with no lights, not bothered about independantly of the front, this i imagine would be a P,O,P cept the cutting of the headlining

I was considering wiring them with the front courtesy lights so they light up the rear when the car is unlocked etc.

Also looking at a remote "on" for the lights in the boot so rear seat passengers can see if the dog has ****ed himself in the dark!
