Hi

I purchased a dual mass flywheel and sachs uprated clutch kit for a fabia VRS and just in the middle of fitting it

Tthe clutch plate does not have any markings as to which way around it is fitted (it is not marked flywheel side).

One side of the clutch plate is flush and the other side the splines protrude slightly.

I think the flush side must go towards the flywheel but it also fits the other way around which makes it a bit confusing.

Anyone know which way it goes ?

I have been on the phone to Sachs and been told the flush side goes towards the flywheel and the protruding bit goes towards the gearbox.

That is what I thought but wanted to make sure as its a crap job and I don't want to have to take the gearbox out again !!!
