Well I was enjoying the highlights of Le Tour de France last night, mainly to remeber the roads we had driven a few weeks ago (anyone interested theres a cracker on Thursday)

Anyway all the official cars are Skodas, it appears the officials run at the front, so it was 2 red Superbs I think & then a white cabriolet. Is there actually a Skoda rag top, anyone know, it did look a bit like the VW thing based on the Golf, is it EOS ? but Im sure the badge was Skoda but it was only a quick glimpse. Twas on itv4 so if anyone knows how to access old telly off tinternet it was about 10 mins from the end of last nights prog

It is an Eos, they used it last year as well

No it was an EOS, saw the same car a few times and in one of the shots you could clearly see the VW badge.

They use an EOS simply because Skoda dont make a convertible. I wonder if that will change someday?? Wouldnt mind seeing an Octavia based cabrio , a la A4 (canvas roof , 4 seater)

The fabia cabrios look potentially nice

whether it becomes a reality (at least in the Mk2's photoshop case as I dont think suicide doors suit a fabia ) is another matter.

The Mk1 looks a lot better IMO...

For some reason I was under the impression that a MKII Fabia Cabriolet had been made as a one off thing.

I presumed it was EOS based but it isn't as the Fabia Cabriolet had a fabric roof, so maybe it's an A3 Cabriolet with some different lights and a rebadging!

Would be great if they did a cabriolet, would really liven up the brand.

They should have used a Felicia! Apart from the Rapid cabrio , I think this is the last Cabrio Skoda made.
