I'm thinking about getting a dual din headunit with a 7" touchscreen for my Felicia. At the moment there is obviously only room for a single din. My thoughts are that the cigarette lighter and ash tray could be removed thus enabling enough space for said item. The only problem I have is that I do not know if, even after removing these, i will have enough room for one. Has anybody removed the ashtray etc and if so does it go right the way back or is there an obstruction somewhere else? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is taking it downwards removing the centre console (you could use the handbrake cover from a Favorit I think) and hacksawing off the bottom a possibility? You might be able to find some sort of screw underneath the dash type double din bracket.
