Seems pricey for an 82,000 mile 3-year old car. They were £12500 new, so he wants 62% of new with roughly 2-3 times average mileage on it, and it's scratched and it's not been serviced to schedule either (cambelt at 80,000 miles).

The only 07 plate car i've seen with more miles on is one of the Ford Focus at work thats used 24/7 and has 96,000 on the clock.

According to the lying weasel of a trip computer - in reality 45-50mpg with those sort of figures I would guess.

According to the report I got from Glass's website, a private sale (at 31,000 miles) should net you £7220. If you pay more than £6.5 for this abused heap, you're a fool....
