Fernando Alonso...

Featured Replies

...is a barefaced lying ar$e, his performance in the post race press conference was genuinely awe inspiring . i have'nt seen a performance like that since Tony Blair and the WMD debacle. the only one amongst the ferrari team with any nous appears to be Massa's engineer Rob Smedley.

$100 grand fine, well done FIA that'll show 'em....

FIA havnt got involved yet have they? Thought fine was imposed by race stewards????????????

FIA goint to do anything aint there man in charge ex ferrari boss Jean Todt?

Alonso is a very good driver but is as spoilt as a 16 year old rich kid.

The FIA won't do owt - remember Ferrari International Assistance is their real name

We should all go anti Ferrari.

Is it not the equivalent as match fixing.

if i'd of had money an Massa to win I'd be right effing annoyed.

Scrap Alonso's result and strip Ferrari of their manufactures points but give the win to Massa.

The way he handled the whole thing was brilliant especially when he pulled over to the right and used 3/4 throttle until Alonso came past.

Hate alonso and ferrari more so now.

:D

I have to admit, this is pretty much race fixing as lots of people could make money from gambling and others lose.

Wonder if any German who lost money wants to get the police to investigate.

The stewards imposed the highest fine they were allowed to, basically finding Ferrari guilty of breaching the Sporting Regulations. Ferrari have been referred to the FIA for bringing the sport into disrepute, which could see them docked points or even banned.

Jean Todt has apparently removed himself from all involvement with F1 disciplinary proceedings, so he will have no (official) input into the outcome at all.

Whatever the decision, the "no team orders" rule may well be scrapped, as it is almost unenforceable unless a team makes it as obvious as Ferrari did. We all know they still exist in all teams, they just don't make it obvious

IMO, the only team order there should be in any team is "don't crash into each other". If Alonso was so much faster, he should bloody well pass Massa on the track properly, I want to watch racing, not a fixed result.

According to formula1.com it was the FIA who imposed the fine and they have then referred ferrari to the World Motor Sport Council because the race stewards have deemed that Ferrari have breached sporting regulations.

That said the same article says it was the stewards who handed out the fine. hmm

:D

i think team orders should be allowed, its a team, therefore you use team tactics! is it not no different to the following scenario, a rugby prop forward through the defence and then passing to a winger who has far quicker pace, and less chance of being caught by the defence catching up, the winger to score the winner from that move?

On the point of race fixing i read somewhere that the top bookies refunded the stake money as they said it was unfair!!

Do you know how I know Alonso is gay?

'Cos he didn't whine or moan or complain?

Or 'cos he carried on, maybe looking for more to happen?

:D

Which is worse, Alonso or Vettel ?

Do you know how I know Alonso is gay?

Is it Spanish people or just homosexual people that your trying to offend.
