Right I've done the columbus and GSMIII retrofit which were a dodle to be honest so I thought i'd give the optical parking senors a go. I can't find on the forum anyone else thats done it and there is a few bits I need a hand with.

I have no wiring diagrams for the octavia I believe i need to conect it to the drive CANBUS network which I believe I can do on the CAN gateway. Where is the CAN gateway lol?

It doesnt look like there are many connections;

can high

can low

which I can connect to on the CAN gate connector (T-20e) Pin 16 is CAN High and Pin 6 is CAN Low

There is two other cables listed as kl30 and kl15 anyone got any ideas what these are?

Then there is the switch to enable the front sensors I have no clue where this goes it has 3 wires on it can anyone who has taken there dash out let me know?

CAN Gateway is behind the glovebox.

You'd be best getting hold of the wiring diagrams from Esawin to assist you.

KL30&15 could be power and earth connections?

i have done this to my car, i had the same problems with wiring diagrams but if you contact me ill give you a hand with the wiring

Thanks Badger appreciate the help when the kit turns up I will post a picture of the connections needed. From what I can make of it the wiring on the ops doesn't look too bad however the switch to turn the front ops on has 3 wires and I have no clue where this goes.

30 and 15 probably refer to permanent and switched lives (look at the skoda wiring diagram).

Guess I will need to buy a copy of Elsawin as I have no wiring diagrams.

got all the bits now before I attempt it can anyone narrow down some of the wiring colours?

I have 3 cables from the switch to enable the fronts with 2x Brown and 1x Grey/ Blue

Then also another 3 cables 1xOrange/Brown 1x Orange/Black 1x Black/Purple .

Any help if anyone knows what these wire colours are. Cheers

I have 3 cables from the switch to enable the fronts with 2x Brown

connect the two brown to an earthing point (in front of gear stick)

1x Grey/ Blue

Illumination - connect to the illumination on the ESR switch.

Then also another 3 cables 1xOrange/Brown 1x Orange/Black

connect to the same wires as close to the CAN gateway or Xenon lights (of fitted)

1x Black/Purple

Connect to a switched live on the fuseboard.
