Don't you just love 'Porkers'........

Featured Replies

One of my all time favourite shaped Porker's here and also in great condition, or at least it was after I had finished............ :giggle:

Also a great new Product Review contained that will be a regular part of my 'Detailing Kit':

BTW I still love Zaino...........

First class finish as always ,10/10.

Epic B)

Nice to see some other products coming out too :D

Like the wheel cleaning and window cleaning 'gadgets' too mate

:)

You don’t really need me to say it, do you :D

Massive transformation Simon ,though I think Jules would have made a better job on the exhausts! .The tracking is well out the inside edge is nearly bald

Was just thinking the same thing, looking back through the photos :o

I know you've said they've been replaced, but I'd question the need for a tracking/geometry session for it, otherwise it's likely it'll chew through the next set as well....

Wow great looking car now.

Oh come on Lady Elanore, your usually full of words?

Yeah your probably right mate but these exahusts were not meant to shine I am afraid..............

Not the tracking that's out mate, it's a common problem on these motor's, it's all to do with the geometry set up..........

Trouble is if you know nothing about detailing and the standards that can be achieved buying a car in that condition, albeit washed would be acceptable to most people, just in the way that a 'Supermarket Wash' for £5 does a good job..................

another great detail mate, lovely car and brilliant results :)

Stunning :o

Good job! :thumbup::)

I have used a fair few now such as Megs Tyre Shine, Megs Endurance Gel, Zaino Z16, etc but I am using AutoSmarts Highstyle at the moment, it's a bulk product you can buy from your local AS Rep and comes in 5L bottles, I just decant it and use accoridingly, been using it for a while now, nice and slick, leaves a nice gloss, lasts ages and smells nice............it's also very good on interior and exterior trim but I just use it for tyres...........

thanks mate :) may order a small bottle from ebay to try :) do you apply it neat or dilute?

cheers again :)

Thanks for the comment Ste and hope you are well.........

Nice detail. Something that works well when I detail on dull tailpipes is a very soft wire wool soked in water, agitate lightly, then followed by application of Megs metal polish with microfibre, off with clean microf and finished off with a wax of your choice (Colonite 476 does me)

I've found a fair bit of success without undue marring and it definitely adds a good shine to even the dullest pipes.

I suspect you will have tried this. I find Audi pipes often the worse and it even brings those up too!!

Great job by the way....personally I find some Porsches's a nightmare. Just did a Cayenne and it was reading average of 80microns on my Paint Detective...........I was gobsmacked!!

Thanks for the input on the exhuasts and I will pass that onto the exhuast cleaning department tonight................that would be Jules...............

I guess like all motor's they are painted differently and you just don't know what your going to get from car to car, it's all fun and game though.............. :p
