FABIA 1.2 TSI DSG 105bhp Elegance Red

Featured Replies

Ordered my new Skoda Fabia on 1st May 2010. E-mailed the dealer 2 weeks ago to be told the factory were presently on a 3 weeks holiday but when they returned (presume it is this week) they are stepping up production. Other than this haven't been given any build week dates or anything. Am thinking it may be September now before it is ready? What do others think?

Would you want it in August when you can get a 60 plate in September??

Ordered our TSI 85 Elegance with options second week in June, dealer gave us a build week of WK34 (end of August) earlier this month. If build goes to plan then end of September for delivery all being well.

Ordered my Fabia 1.6 TDi five weeks ago. I was told 10 - 12 weeks this puts it to early to mid September. But I do not yet have a build week or an estimated delivery date. I must admit I naievely thought once an order had been placed, the factory would have a planned build date. This does not seem to be the case. Last week I called into the dealers and was advised the factory had been on holiday and orders had not progressed, however they would speed up now they factory were back at work. I suppose we'll just have to wait

We wanted a White Fabia and was told 12 weeks +, it must be good knowing you have to wait to get your car, if you bought a Vauxhall or a Ford you would of had it the next day which tells me Skoda are in moe demand.

Would be nice now to wait a bit longer and have a 60 plate I think.

We ordered a near identical car to what you have on order in mid-May and I heard from my dealer this week that they are still looking for delivery in 2nd/3rd week of September.

Hi CS,

welcome to the forum, and yes your spot on for WK42, my Yeti was built WK42/09 on 14th October to be precise. Currently waiting for a manual TSI (85) which we hope to have by the end of September given a build of (WK34/10) last week in August.

Regards,

I ordered mine on Wednesday 23rd June and was quoted 10-12 week delivery. I have been to the dealers today, he now tells me the car is to be built week 41 and should be in the UK by 15 Oct.

So mine was ordered 1 month before your but is due 1 week before yours :wonder:
