Towing with the Scout

Featured Replies

Seeing that there has been a lot of talk recently about towing caravans, I thought I'd post a picture of my "Other Outfit" rather than yet another caravan emoticon-0144-nod.gif

If you thought the Scout was good with a caravan on the back, it's even better with one of these emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Now if only I could find a way to tow both the caravan and rib at the sametime... emoticon-0104-surprised.gif

Not bad... but I prefer mine :p

Looks like you have a desk in the boat ! but as far as towing both, just put the boat on the roof, and tow the caravan ! :giggle:

Quite a novel idea, should the weather get particulary bad you can continue in the boat.

Not quite - it's actually storage for fins/masks/gloves/hoods/reels etc (all those little bits needed for scuba diving) - but known locally as the coffin! BUT it's days are numbered, just need to hear back from the stainless steel fabricators re a nice little light-weight tray.

As rugged as the Scout is somehow I don't think that idea will work as getting the rib on and off will surely ruin my nice leather seats as they'll get covered in seawater...
