Washer fluid warning

Featured Replies

As above really.

Should my 06 vRS have a low washer fluid warning?

You only get th alarm if you have Xenon lights. If you have the standard lights there is no washer warning.

I remember reading you can retrofit the tank as its larger is it possible to hook up the low fluid warning as well?

No need to fit a new tank, I have recently done this to my Golf which uses the same washer bottle as the octavia

OK cheers.

Was wondering why I just ran out with no warning!

Is this only with the VRS?

My Elegance has standard headlights from factory, headlight wash, and didn't originally have maxidot, but the low washer fluid warning has always worked.

Mike

Yes, that is correct it is with the VRS. I suppose it is more accurate to say that you only get the alarm with the headlight wash (and you only get this on the VRS if you have Xenons).
