I know this topic got covered in some detail a year or two ago but I can't seem to find it now... Has anyone tried to do this? I'm sure I recall someone managing it?!

just get a kit off ebay mate.

it can be done as long as you have rain sensing wipers, since it uses the same sensor for the lights. all you need is the switch, a short piece of wire and then someone with VCDS to code the ECU.
