Forgotten Graves

Featured Replies

Was out with the dog yesterday and had a walk through the old church yard of St John's Church in Chapeltown just around the corner from our home. The church is closed and has now been converted into an office but the graves still remain slowly being taken over by nature.

Good photos there. Very atmospheric. Black and white always seems to suit this subject.

Tried to search out what happened to the chap but haven't been able to find anything as yet..... A fatal injury whilst playing football is a bad 'un wonder how often it happened back then?

This is all i've found so far....... CLICKY Looks like his dad was an accountant and the guy himself was a boiler maker at the age of 14.

Cheers

Dave.
