2002 Octavia 1.8T L & K wheels

hi all

I have an L & K 1.8T with standard L & K 16 inch "Chrome Chrome" finish. sadly, the finish has not lasted as well as the rest of the car. Does anyone know of the most viable way to either restore them to their past glory or know of a supplier of reasonably priced second hand wheels? Apart from that - this has been an excellent car and in 9 years only replaced the front suspension arms which i think have finally given in to speed bumps. Thanks
