Mine's silver

I think there nice, but personally i also think the standard ones are nice :)

But have had a look at the ones on the car and they appear to be recessed into the wing. Do you need to remove the arch liner and pop them out from the inside to get them out? Anybody else done this yet?

Not removed them myself but you will need to remove the arch liner to get at the repeater.

I know on the Octy you have to pop the arch liner - I suspect the Fabia is similar :)

Bugger - that probably means I need to remove the mudflaps I fitted last week too :thumbdwn:

I think they will look nice.

You need to undo the first couple of screws in the arch liner behind the wheel, if you have mudflaps you will need to remove this also. then reach up and unclip it. Make sure you get silver bulbs for them though, the orange ones will llook a little silly.

I have also ordered clear amber LED bulbs for them (clear when off, amber when lit) so that should do the trick

P.S. They are directed multi LED bulbs that shine out and sideways so that they will light up the reflector bit rather than just shining straight ahead like LED bulbs do - had some LED stop light bulbs kicking about, tried them in the rear light clusters the othey day - they just looked pony. Bright from immediately behind the car but not at any kind of an angle :thumbdwn:

I have been thinking about getting some for swmbo's car but at the thought of taking the arch liners out i had a severe attack of apathy and didn't order...yet

ok silver thats ok then :D

Hopefully I'll be able to update on the ease (or not) of it in the new year - assuming I'm not too busy playing with my new stereo! :D
