Well i have just dropped my car off for a full inspection at skoda, needs a new turbo pipes and intercooler !

and a rad ! because its over £2000 worth of work with skoda they have to send a head office guy out to double check and authorise the work.

they gave me a 1.4tdi fabia 2 and god its slow , doesn't handle,

its just **** !

2 good things tho ,

it has 4 cup holders !

and you can adjust the mid range on the speakers,

I'll bet the 1.4tdi is nicer than the old 1.4mpi I have, it has higher bhp figure and faster 0-60 time anyway. Guess your point of view depends on what you've come down or gone up from. Probably get not far off double the mpg too

yeah takes a bit to get it going, would make a good city car for going to the shops in ,

but yeah its doing 77mpg on the motorway !

The trouble is with repairs like that is you just HAVE to do them reagrdless of cost.

Good job they are honoring the warranty. Free stuff is cool :D
