6N Bits?

Featured Replies

Being a poor impoverished student I can't help but jump at a bargain. And I just happen to have been offered what on the surface seems to be one. A set of Coilovers and droplinks from a 6N polo. The owner is convinced they are perfect for my little Fabia, and will fit with no trouble. Before I shell out for something potentially useless I feel I should ask if anyone know from experience or expertise that they will fit?

Edit - 9N bits. I fail :(

I tell a complete lie. It is a 9N...

If its the 9N polo kit then it wil fit.

What breed are they?

What engine did the Polo have?

You've got a 1.4mpi, yeah.. if the Polo had anything heavier won't this cause problems?

It's come off a 1.4tdi so will be heavier yeah.

just to confirm, virtually nothing from a 6n polo will fit a 9n or fabia, but if they are from a 9n they will fit fine

how much you thinking of paying for these ?

Few hundred delivered

Can you really fit diesel springs to a petrol?

Can someone confirm this?

I would have though the coilovers will be fine regardless of weight as they don't produce engine specific versions.

Yes they do, diesel engines weight more than petrol versions generally so ususally they have different spec springs, not wise to mix them up/
