Can anyone advise me on the service intervals on a new Fabia Elegance 1.6 TDi? Is it fixed interval and what interval, or is it Flexible service intervals as indicated on the Maxi dot display?

It depends what your dealer set-up on the car. Your car can be set-up as you want it . Before the dealer set-up your car ,they should have asked you what kind of journeys do you normally undertake. If you do 10,000 miles a year or less and it involves quite a few short trips then it should be set for fixed interval service. However if you do predominately longer trips , say 25 miles each day, then it should be set for variable service.

Looking at the sticker under the cover in the boot or the sticker inside the front cover of your service schedule booklet should reveal what kind of service interval your car 'should' have.

From memory, the code at the start of the very last line gives this information. With the FL Fabia QG1 indicates a flexible service interval and QG2 indicates a fixed interval. The code for the pre FL Fabia is different as I know that my 58 plate estate is code QG0 which is fixed interval.
