Yup, i picked it up at 10am and it's lovely.

Have only put 25 miles on it despite being out all day, I've been helping a mate do some DIY and only just finished.

Going to have some tea now, then read the manual, fit the uprated lightbulbs, and take it for a proper drive to visit some relatives in Wales tomorrow.

Initial observations, it's nice and firm/stable round corners though i've not been pushing it as the tyres are brand new and the roads are wet. Plus i'm running it in properly so not going over 3000rpm yet. Plenty of torque below that though.

Better report tomorrow hopefully.

We've got up to 800 miles on ours since picking it up last weekend, SWMBO is using it for work.

I get to drive it at weekends, the Scooby has been relegated to the driveway for now

Uprated bulbs were a right PITA to fit, especially the passenger side ones. :(

But they're in now, and are rather dazzling.

I had a quick look at changing the lamps today :eek:

I got some from Halfrauds in their sale - not looking forward to sacrificing the skin though.

Which lamps did you get?

Osram Silver Star for dipped (normal wattage but 50% brighter), and Phillips Rally 100w for main beam. Now you need to wear

Of course, the 100w ones are for off-road use only so i won't be using them on the roads.

Oh, and for the passenger side ones, taking the side cover/shroud off the battery gives you a few crucial extra mm's of space to work with.
