superb greenline

Featured Replies

My wife and i picked up our superb greenline sat morning.....what a good looking car......inside and out !! very pleased with it and came with the brolly. Only the spare wheel to find and compliment that with the jack and other bits and it will save the worry of a flat and using that tube of sealant and air pump....will try the spare from our dead superb that sits next to the new model......all in all.....an excellent spec and very very ecconomical

Nutty, is this a 1.9 this time?

yes its the 1.9 tdi supurbia...the size of a 2,0 ltr engine and the power of 140bhp just reminded me of our other superb...same output but different layout engine wise. But i wasnt going to chance it...so went for the greenline 1.9tdi 105 bhp. The wife wanted it...she used her mobility to purchase it...and it solves the imediate transport problems. So if she's happy then i'm happy.

Now i can focus on the other superb thats sitting on the drive and await the phone call from skoda uk....then go from there. I've been searching online for the faults and other comments from the owners who also had the same issues...this week its a visit to the citizens advice and make an appointment, and hopefully get some information that might be of use. Although we have the new superb mk2....i still want the other one sorted....i dont see why i should be expected to fork out whatever the costs are going to be...ive read enough threads on here and seen enough owners fobbed off with ridiculous repair quotes...so skoda is going to have to up their goodwill gesture...as i am not prepared to pay for something that failed and they know about it.

So having left the local dealer with smiles...i'm quite prepared for further battles,,,,even tho the local dealer who i'm told has been advised of the problem car by skoda uk, if they think i will make a 60% contirbution for repairs then i will take the legal side...and go from there.
