if the white line one is adjustable isnt the bit you can adjust not a weak point for failure? isnt the thicker jabba one not gona be stronger? why would you want to adjust it anyway?

Possibly but I have yet to hear of one breaking on here I would say the thicker habba one would be stronger and more ridged but this is purely speculation as no tests haev been done as such. Why would you want to adjust it indeed it not like it effect ride quality and the stiffer the better imo as less body roll :thumbup:

These ARBs fit Polos, Ibiza, Fabias, even Roomsters... Just looking at Fabias: Hatchbacks, Estates, Combis, standard suspension, lowerred, coilovers, there's a world of differences between the cars. Having the ability to adjust it allows a better match of settings for the car/driver. Not everyone wants the rear end to be so communicative. At least, not going to the shops with the full family on board maybe.

Your forgetting less bodyroll doesn't mean more grip. In this case a stiffer rear anti roll bar actually reduces rear end grip and increase grip at the front due to the weight transfer distribution being alter from front to rear.

So the question is are you happy with less grip at the rear when going the shops? :)

You get more overall grip. Unless you are driving on the limit and purposely attempting to induce lift off oversteer. But you said you were just going to the shops right?

Every now and then life throws ****e at us, like the car in front suddenly braking for a football . Sudden phantom traffic jams in the outside lane on a corner.

We all like to think we're really good drivers but it only takes a second for things to really go pear shaped. A little extra time to sort things out before the back end hits the hedge is always nice. :)

I actually think standard suspension without the ARB is worse to dangerous and lowering the car only helps mute the symptoms. The car should have a properly designed rear suspension which should have included an ARB from the factory.
