lowering vrs

Featured Replies

hi all,

has any of you guys lowered your vrs? if so how much?

and had any problems? such as speed bumps etc etc

cheers chris

I think the main problem you may encounter is bottomed out front spoiler, or if you got too far adverse handling effects to do with the angle of the front suspension, i could be more speific but i am pi$$ed after xmas lunch!

lol.... think we all are!

just that friend is in germany and he offered us a set for the car!

and with the front being so low i thought that if it went any lower then the bumper was gonna get a bad knock if to low down!

ahwell stick to buying the 18's instead! lol

There's plenty of lowered Octy RS's on here.

Almost all have been done with properly designed coil-over kits and not cruise-muppet style with a set of lowering springs from a similar model "that will do" :)

yeah i hate them cowboy lowering jobs!!!!! you can tell aswell. they look really crap

I think the biggest problem would be the risk of damaging the sump. I know a few have ripped them off running OE suspension.....
