I had it wrong - it was V8 FAN and it's on his early 90s Mazda 323!!

On Sunday I saw something very old and very rare.

A 1905 Darracq. It has a massive 25.4 litre V8, producing 200-250BHP. It was the only one made.

In 1908 it set the land speed record of 121.57mph, here on this beach, (Saltburn-by -the-Sea)

Saw my first Peugeot RCZ today, Black 60 reg with all black alloys, thought it was a TT at first. No camera with me though.

Saw one of these again yesterday.

A Koenig KS8 (Tuned BMW 850), made in the days when Koenig did conversions instead of building their own. TBH I thought it was a bad (very) wide kit car job that had the cheek to put Koenig logos on it. A little investigation proved me wrong lol. Didnt like it at all. Waste of a good 8 series IMO.

It had obviously seen better days, the panels looked rough and the paint looked faded.

Its the third time Ive seen it so am hoping I can get my own pictures of it next time now its local.

my dad had same kind of nsu tts as on page 2 it had 120 horsepower out of 1.3 litre carburettor engine ! and that was combined to chassis that weight 650 kilos ! it was rocket in its time at 1970

How have I not found this thread until now!

First few are of a buggy built by an Australian fellow, who then decided to drive it round the world. He certainly managed to get it to the Outer Hebrides of Scotland anyway, because I helped service it Big truck engine of some description and very cleverly engineered if I remember rightly.

The rest are from a holiday to California, including a Barrett-Jackson auction in Vegas Plenty more where this came from as well.
