Dual mass flywheel

Featured Replies

Now that I have the G60/VR6 setup I have a DMF sat in a box waiting to either be scrapped or sold. I did a quick scan of EBAY and there appear to be a few used DMF's for sale. Is it worth me trying to sell mine? Its covered circa 70k miles and didnt actually fail or slip, although the clutch did once get very smelly in crawling traffic. The garage told me that its not that worn and looking at it id of said it all seems fine. (I just hate DMF's :smirk: )

There maybe somebody who would buy it,i personally wouldnt fit a sechondhand dmf due to the work & cost involved to fit it(im a mechanic so labour would be zero but id still not fit it) somebody may want it if they are on a tight budget or trading in/selling their car soon & theirs has failed. If you get £50 for it its better than nowt.......will buy some beer! :)
