Workshop Manuals For Octavia 2

Hi,

I usually main dealer my car upto 60,000 miles ( mine has only done 25000) and then do the servicing and repairs myself from there as I tend to keep mr cars along time and save a fortune on running costs over the life of the car. Plus doing it yourself know the servicing has been done properly.

I am wondering where I can get a workshop manual for my 2005 Octavia 2 Esate 1.9 TD?

As its a 2005 car its a bit to recent for the Haynes treatment. .

Regarding the Haynes, I believe one for a Mk5 Golf will be as close as you can get:

There are various electronic manuals on eBay for a fiver or thereabouts but to say they are spurious is an understatement

Get a copy of ELSAWIN, the stuff the dealers use. Far superior to Haynes.

hi,im trying to find one as well if you get one can you let me know,my cars got adroning noise from front,doesnt make any difference when it goes round corners and the noise is there straight away from pulling off,got a feeling it might be the tyres.any advice would be welcombe.ian ex renault mechanic.

hi,can anyone help,ive got 3 dvds elsawin etka parts ive loaded the install manual and parts manual,when i try to load the other one a box comes up and says unsupported version and i cant get beyond that,cheers ian.

I bet you are using windows 7 system. Elsawin doesn't support that. I bought one several months ago. The software is extremely difficult to install even I tried it on my old windows xp laptop. I followed all the steps on the manual and after several houres i eventually installed it, but I couldn't get any information out of it. Good news is they don't cost much. Since my old xp laptop was stolen and all the new laptops on the Market using window 7, I now just throw them in a draw and never bother touching them again.
