Hi all!

I was just wondering? How can I adjust the headlamps on my fabia (2005)?

I recently changed my HID's and the ones I got are so bright that they made me realize that my headlights are all over the place. I know that there are two bolts, one handles the vertical alignment, and the other the horizontal alignment, but i dont know which is which! :(

Can someone help me plz!!! Help with pics would be muuuch appreciated!

Best have it done at an MOT center to ensure correct alignment.

I haven't done them on the Fabia but it's usually pretty obvious which one does which, isn't it?

I've not done it myself, but according to the Haynes Manual, the inner thumbwheel controls the vertical adjustment and the outer thumbwheel controls the horizontal adjustment.

... and I can confirm that that's correct having just raised mine substantially after the garage refused to!

The only discrepancy there is that it's not a "thumbwheel" but a plastic adjuster socket that either needs a 6mm allen key, or a Phillips screwdriver - the latter's easier for the offside lateral adjuster which is right under the bonnet aperture where it's not easy getting the allen key in perpendicularly.
