Hi folks! Does anyone know where I could take my Fabia vRS for a new aircon rad. Sprung a spectacular leak after stone chip got thrown up into it - completely dead now. Skoda have quoted £518. The car is 6 yrs old. Would love to get it done cheaper somewhere. Not clever enough to do it myself :( .... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I live near Watford.

Another possibility would be a VAG independent

or an air con specialist

Ta folks! A bit wary of so called aircon specialists, as have been very unlucky and been bitten TWICE by different companies.... Have has a mssg from someone though - persuing that at the mo. LOVE my vRS btw! Six yrs old, black and goes like stink, whilst sipping fuel! Doesn't feel like its only 130bhp actually !

is it just me or does the seems extortionate!!! £518 for a rad plus fitting? thats enough to make my grandad turn in his grave!

Sorry. £518 incl fitting. Even so, seemed steep to me. :(
