O2 sensor/ecu pin?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have acquired a air/fuel gauge from my bro's little stash of goodies. I know its either supposed to connect to the ECU or the lambda sensor.. Read online it says something along the lines of

Wideband = lambda sensor

Narrow band = ecu

I have no idea where either of these wires are.. Could someone give me clues of where my head should be looking..?

Any help much appreciated..! :thumbup: Thanks.

does the fabia vrs even have a lambda probe of any kind?

Umm.. Not sure, but I would've thought there is an o2 sensor somewhere along the lines..

Alternatively, a layout of the ECU pins will be good too (or simply tell me which one to splice lol)

No lambda sensor on these diesels unfortunately..

Open loop fuelling with the MAF & MAP.

Thanks Kev,

Had a bit of a read - so if I wanted something equivalent I would want to measure the MAP sensor aks pressure values of the air into the manifold.. which basically is a boost gauge...? :dull:

Don't like hitting dead ends.. :doh:
