Replacement Seat Covers for Oct M2 Vrs

Featured Replies

Anyone know if you can get replacement seat covers for my 07 plate Octavia Vrs ??( the bit you sit on only)

My local dealer Say's no, only the foam rubber bases are available.

If you remove a seat that has airbags in does it throw up an Airbag light on the Dash. If so how do you turn it off?

If you disconnect the battery, leave for a while and reconnect does this also throw up any lights?

I can't decide to go for a re-trim, which sometimes can look baggy when fitted, get just the front (The light grey bit) of the seats trimmed but will still involve removing the seat, have complete covers replaced or just live with what I've got but it's bugging me

UPDATE

managed to source some front seat base covers (OEM) from skoda, the bit you sit on,

£192 each +vat+fitting ( if required )

Rules that plan out then. emoticon-0106-crying.gif

I can't help with regards sourcing the required covers but I can get the information regarding the SRS, battery disconnection time etc, but if you are thinking about changing it yourself you need to be careful, although the airbag will be inert and they are shielded there is always a small chance it could deploy accidently! :o

thanks for that

I wont be going anywhere near the seats, I'll end up with no cuffin seats as I'll never get them back in

I can drive trains but not change seat covers.
