just bought a second hand dv30. are there any basic checks i need to do it before fitting? like spring length etc?

you could do a simple leak test by compressing the spring using a pen, block the end and check that it stays compressed, other than that you will just have to check you get no turbo chatter and that the boost is dumped correctly.

ok. did those and seems fine so i fitted it. seems a bit louder than the standard dv. also fitted my n75h valve too.
