HI all,

just out of interest I seem to have gained a short sharp knocking almost like the chassis creaking once sometimes when breaking and some times when cornering I have emptied the car of everything so before any body asks there is nothing rolling around.

The noise seems to come from different parts of the car.

Has any one else got a similar noise it seems to be getting worse and my warranty runs out probably next week lol strangely enough its in for a service on Tuesday.

So any suggestions please.

Probably not going to help but the only noise I had off my Combi was the boot cover. I used some sticky back foam where it sits and problem solved. Rattle free

Try some silicon grease (or Vaselene) on all the rubber seals on the doors. If these get too dry then the doors creak against them when the car goes over uneven surfaces. I had this problem on my first Octy but not so far on my Superb.
