New iTunes has now downloaded and installed on my Mac, just waiting for the library to update which is taking ages.

How much stuff have you got on there?

My iTunes is 56.62gb and it took about 15 secs for it to update.

My library took about 3 or 4 minutes to update.... That's with 10411 tracks / 56.54gb of music.

Anyhows.... Think i'll stick with my JB'd iOS4.0.1

1400 CD's, 23,000 tracks which is just over 130GB of music.

Took about 1/2hr in the end, was running on battery power at the time.

That might explain it that's a fecking lot of music

I've only got 9727 songs.

This update will hopefuly make my phone act like a normal phone. The sensor is way oversensitive - Half the time when I'm making calls it gets put on hold, hands free or dropped. I'm amazed that this was not picked up during testing...

i downloaded the latest itunes for my mac a couple of days ago, and it somehow lost/corrupted my library file so even though all the music data is still there i can't access any of it till i get round to fixing it :wonder:

Tom, try renaming your personal iTunes directory, re-start iTunes to create a new libary and then re-add the tracks.
