Wind Deflectors

Featured Replies

Who has them on their fabias? Id like some but cant find any that are cheap enough. Anyone got any they recommend?

I've got OE ones! cost about £32 when I got them a couple years ago!

Your best bet would be ebay!

Ebay is full of "Team Heko" ones. From reading past threads on here it seems they push into the window seal, whereas the originals glue onto the bodywork.

ive had team hekos on my previous corsa and civic and wouldnt use any other they fit flush into window seal and look great

i have heko`s on my fab easy to fit and look fab :)

i have the team heko ones think there about 40 - 45 quid for front and rear, i rate them as a good fit but the front are a bit loose but thats because i lost the clip :giggle:

i have the ones mentioned by the guys above, they come as a set of 4 but i only have the front two on. they come with some little sticky pads on (around 3/4 per side), you just roll the window dow, pull the paper of the sticky pads and slide it into the window and shut it to make them seal together. if poss i would add more sticky pads to keep it in place as mine sometimes slip down (very rarely) and then sometimes iv had the window go up, hit the deflector and come back down lol. definitly worth a buy tho mate there great and look good too :)

hope it helps, Elliott

I have just had a thought. These slot into the window channel? Therefore on manual windows I suspect if you pulled the wind deflector down you could open the window (as it is only pulled up and down by a cable, so pushing it down would unwind the cable). This may therefore create a security risk?

Thinking about it more, I guess if this is the case you could also use a suction pad to grasp the glass and pull it down.

Or a hammer. Which seems the preferred method for the low lifes that break into cars.

 suppose that's quicker

nah that wouldnt be the case my friend see the wind deflector does not go over the glass it sits flush with it so if you pulled the deflector only that would come out and the glass woundnt move, good thinkin tho
