heel-and-toe should work, although it could have simillar problems to left foot braking (only with fly by wire engine). When you press the brake pedal, the accell pedal is disabled, I think it was TaviaRS that tried this and no matter how much loud pedal you have on, touch the brakes and its gone. Resulting jerky kangaroo fashion progress.

Heel-&-toe or left foot breaking wouldn't work if you have the ASR on... Just inactivate ASR by pressing the button (permanent light indication on board) and left foot breaking works perfectly:) :):D :D Drive-by-wire engines have the problem of "inactivating" the accelaration pedal when pressing the brake pedal.

I've never seen the traction control work actually... I can get wheelspin without too much effort, but no lights or anything... Now you got me worried

I know what you mean the tyres still squeal with the tc on...

turn it off and you can make smoke signals. :drive1:

My approch to this "turbo-lag" before 2000rpms is not to kick the pedal to the metal at once.

Be gentle do a soft touch at first and then start pressing more and more as the revs picking up.

You'll always have turbo-lag in any gear under 2000revs.

If you don't want this annoyng thing, simple buy yourself a Golf R32

Ckosm,

I heel and toe all the time, no problem even with the ASR on. Left foot braking is impossible ASR on or off.
