Anyone got a roofbox on their Octy II?

Featured Replies

Just wondering if you could post some pics and give details. I have been looking into them, but have found the Octavia has a very short length in terms of roof length. This inhibits me a little as the plan is to put a child's buggy up there.

I had a Thule Atlantis on my Golf V and there was loads of room for my kids' pushchair & lots of other stuff besides.

I'm certain you'll have no probs doing the same with your Octy!

Is your Octy the hatchback version? Did the box overhang at the front and rear?

Thanks

Think it was called the Atlantis 200, but it had 450 litre capacity. Great piece of kit. Really well made and durable. All from

memory, as sold it shortly after I chopped in the Golf for the Octy - have all the space I need now!

Good luck.

I've still got the Atlantis 200 I bought for my Outback. The Skoda def has a shorter roof length and I need to remove the aerial to get a decent front overhang/still opening the rear door compromise. If buying now, I'd prob look at the 600 - 100l less volume, so shorter.

I thought the 600 was longer 190cm as opposed to 175cm (200),

Thule Atlantis 800 = very good.

Now also have some Thule proride bike carriers for the roof too..

Hi

Look at Atera roof boxes on www.roofbox.co.uk - a much cheaper option than the likes of Thule etc but with excellent build quality - I've used one of these on my Octavias without any problems. Set up is quick and easy.
