I have had fitted 2x front strut top mountings and they knock when turning the steering wheel, I have fitted non genuine mounts and then changed to genuine parts and they are still the same. Any idea how to sort this as its doing my head in!!

did you replace the bearing below the strut top?

no other suspension issues? track rod end? console bush? that would cause the knocking?

bearings were also replaced, console bushes, trackrod ends have been replaced. when stationary and you turn the steering wheel it is really noticable, it can also be heard at low speeds eg when parking. do not notice it at higher speeds 30+ mph possibly due to not turning steering wheel so much?
