I 'fixed' this problem THREE years ago with a bodge using a cupboard door catch.

Still working fine,no problem since (SHH) ..

Errr, well I took a couple of the actual switch wiring so I knew how to rewire it, but that's about it. Different models seem to have differently wired switches though. :S

If anybody is interested, it's mostly in the Haynes manual and is covered elsewhere in this forum. I am happy to do a guide if required though. :yes:

well it is handy to have a reference picture to work to for the ignition switch wiring.. :yes:
